Supporting individuals to live independently, or semi-independently.

For adults with mild or moderate learning disabilities, or for those with a physical disability, living independently can present a number of challenges, both within and beyond the home.

However, with the right input and support, many individuals are able to live happy, independent lives, and integrate successfully into their wider community.

Use this handy checklist to reflect on areas for support and to guide your daily practice when supporting the individuals in your care.
