Non-Verbal Communication: I’m Communicating – Are You Listening?

Join Principal Team Teach trainer, Gary Nicholls, as he discusses non-verbal communication. These often subtle signs can help us with dynamic risk assessment, enabling us to reduce the likelihood of an individual ending up in crisis.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss:

• How individuals can communicate their emotions through body language, helping us to recognise how they may be feeling.
• Ways we can spot the early signs of distress before an individual is in crisis, allowing us to decide how best to support them.
• Why early de-escalation can reduce risk and the use of restrictive practices for everyone.

What to expect?

This webinar will be hosted by Gary Nicholls, a Principal Team Teach trainer. It is suitable for professionals working in education, health, and social care settings and will last for approximately 30 minutes. This webinar is open to the general public.
