Supporting Behaviour During Change to Routines

This webinar is suitable for all practitioners working in education and health and social care settings.

We work hard to build consistent, familiar routines. We know these routines make the individuals we support feel safe, and when things are predictable, we feel more comfortable, too.

So, what happens when those familiar routines have to change? We often see significant changes in the behaviour, including increased dysregulation, and this can also lead to increased risk for everyone.

Join Team Teach Principal trainer, Ali Manning, as she talks about how we can support individuals through planned and unexpected changes.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss:

  • Supporting behaviour before a holiday period and why we might see increased dysregulation
  • How to prepare individuals for planned changes to reduce their anxiety
  • Strategies to support during unexpected changes to routines

What to expect?

This webinar will be hosted by Ali Manning, a Team Teach Principal trainer. It is suitable for professionals in education, health care and social care settings, and will last for approximately 30 minutes. This webinar is open to everyone.
