Trauma-Informed Care Webinar

Join experienced Team Teach trainer, Nancy Hooper, as she discusses the importance of trauma-informed care and practical ways we can achieve this in our settings.

We’ll unpick what we mean by being ‘trauma-informed’ and explore key principals to help us create trauma-aware support. We’ll also be sharing useful ideas about ways to create, develop, and evaluate our approaches to ensure they are effective.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss:

  • How to integrate trauma-informed principals into our day-to-day work to create an atmosphere where individuals feel heard and respected.
  • Strategies we can use to establish safety and build trust with individuals who have experienced trauma.
  • Ways to support resilience and recovery while avoiding re-traumatisation.
  • Ideas to help create a trauma-informed environment.

What to expect?

This webinar will be hosted by Nancy Hooper, Health & Social Care Lead for Team Teach. It is suitable for professionals working in education, health, and social care settings and will last for approximately 30 minutes.
