Behaviour support can be a complex area, and can be difficult for us as practitioners to summarise easily. Our Behaviour Support Snapshot template enables settings to create their own ‘at-a-glance’ guide to behaviour.
This editable document can be used to frame discussions around behaviour support across a setting. It can also be used as part of a staff induction process, ensuring that all new team members are familiar with their setting’s approach to behaviour. If appropriate, it could be shared with parents, carers, and families.
Please note: While the completed framework can provide a handy ‘snapshot’ of behaviour support, it should, of course, be underpinned by detailed policies and guidelines that provide further information.
