Downloads Emotions Lanyard Cards
These cards can be used by individuals to help us understand how they might be feeling and what we can do to help.
While we all express our emotions in different ways, the images and words on the cards can be a useful starting point for developing emotional literacy and vocabulary.
There are two sets in this downloadable pack – one for adults, and one for children – along with a blank template for individuals to create their own, either independently or with support.
Cut the cards out and fold along the dotted line, so that the image / emotion name is one side, with room to write a list of ‘Things that help me’ on the reverse. These cards can then be laminated and attached to a lanyard or keychain, so that they are readily accessible for individuals and staff.
