Downloads If All Behaviour is Communication Poster: Health and Social Care
We know that, when it comes to the individuals we support across our services, their behaviour is a form of communication. And when they are distressed, dysregulated or anxious, they may engage in particular behaviours that reflect their level of emotional regulation. These might include kicking, spitting, swearing, property damage or shouting, for example.
Use this handy poster to remind staff teams about the types of behaviour they might see from individuals, and to prompt them to reflect on what that behaviour might be communicating.
