Team Members Reuben Aita-Ilaoa
Reuben Aita-Ilaoa is a Team Teach trainer and Learning & Development Country Lead for New Zealand. He has over 20 years’ experience working with children and young people, serving in various capacities, from youth justice to care and protection settings, including 6 years in his current position as Deputy Principal at a specialist residential school in New Zealand.
In his role as Deputy Principal, Reuben works closely with young people, using a trauma-informed approach to behaviour support. His commitment to providing support, guidance, and a nurturing environment for these young people has been unwavering, showcasing his dedication to their well-being and development.
Known for his love of leadership and service, Reuben thrives on the opportunity to lead by example and positively impact those around him.
