Behaviour Self-Evaluation Framework for Education

An editable template to gather evidence around behaviour when preparing for inspection.

This self-evaluation tool references the Ofsted Inspection Framework used in England, UK. Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Use this editable template to gather evidence around behaviour in your school for ongoing self-evaluation and target setting, and when preparing for inspection.

There are 4 key areas for inspection under Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework Sep 2023:

    • Quality of Education

    • Behaviour and Attitudes

    • Personal Development

    • Leadership and Management

This self-evaluation tool highlights any references to behaviour and uses Ofsted statements as a foundation for exploring current progress and action points. It can be a useful tool for a behaviour lead when preparing for inspections. This document should be shared with all teaching and support staff to ensure a joined-up, coherent view of behaviour.
